Eric Barnes AKA Dangerhouse is no spring kitten to the electronic scene. In 2010 where being a “House Music DJ” has become quite redundant, Eric has used his strong artistic background as well as his dedication to defining his signature sound of electronic dance music. Where others use only the most ubiquitous of tracks, Dangerhouse spends countless hours digging through music ranging from Electro, House, Tech-House, Techno, Minimal, and Dubstep finishing them off with his own personal edits. The goal: a set that is distinctly different and highly energetic. His idea is to not choose a genre but find the life inside the beat. Dangerhouse looks for a certain emotion in each track of his collection, that sound that makes you dance, and if any track doesn’t stand up to his high standards, it won’t be heard in one of his enigmatic sets.
Dangerhouse has had the best of the best showing him the ropes, apprenticing under Dj Scotty Boy has taught him what it takes to get the crowd in an uproar during his performances. This gained knowledge has allowed him to climb the ladder in the Southern California and Las Vegas EDM scenes, and the best is still yet to come. Getting the recognition and opportunities to share the stage with some of the best in the game such as Klaas, Cedric Gervais, Donald Glaude, Christopher Lawrence, Dave Dresden and Matt Darey. Whether playing for a thousand screaming house music fans at a packed Newport Beach nightclub, or playing sophisticated house music at an intimate Las Vegas afterhours, Dangerhouse always brings his “A” game. The future is still yet to be written, but expect to hear a lot from this talent in the years to come.
